When I got a mail from a friend entitled "Seattle Storm" with a picture attached I was expecting it to be about Lauren Jackson's nude photos in an Australian magazine, which apparently are causing some outrage in the prudish US of A. "Only in America" as they say... yet another reason for the French to turn their noses up at us. But instead it was this lovely photograph, a far less controversial type of "beauty."

What an awesome photo! I live here -- remember the storm -- but don't remember seeing a photo like this one. :)

A friend took it from the Admiral district in West Seattle. There was also a great picture on the Seattle Times web site which I'll post soon.
